After a spectacular cable car ride and a 25 minutes lasting easy walk along the rock faces of the Tennengebirge with a breathtaking view on the valley of the Salzach river, you reach the entrance of the fascinating ice caves. Well educated guides show you the charming fairylike subterranean world of the glaciers.
Then you visit the castle of the Archbishops built in the 11th century facing an impressive mountain range. After a nice stay in the historic fortress tavern you experience the mystic guided tour through the rooms of the Princes and weapons and watch the amazing show of free flying eagles and falcons
For this excursion good shoes and warm clothes are required.
